It’s a New Year and time for a fresh start. Goddesses come learn practical useful tips to keep your finances in order. We welcome David Perry.

David Perry is a partner in Friedman & Huey CPA’s.  Dave has his Masters in Taxation, holds the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and, curiously enough, has a BA in Psychology.  Dave has both taught and written courses on personal financial planning and is a former member of the Illinois CPA Society Personal Financial Planning committee. However, the best of his practical advice often comes from his own experiences at the School of Hard Knocks:  His own mother was widowed very young (43) and very much unprepared.

Dave’s approach to this important subject is delivered with levity, insight, compassion, common sense, sometimes a little dose of sarcasm but always with honesty.
We will toast off 2010 with some champagne and cheer, then get down to business! Cost of this event is $25, ($5 of which will go to Deborah’s Place an organization to help women get a fresh start in their lives). Bring along any other women you think would be interested. Don’t forget your Goddess Journal (there will be more on hand at event)
